1. Terms of Use
Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing Alefur, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies on this page. You must provide accurate information, be legally capable of entering into a contract, and use the platform only for lawful purposes. A parent, guardian or authorized institution representative must act for a minor.
Platform role
Alefur provides technology for institutions, purchasers and approved vendors to manage uniform requirements, measurements, orders, production, delivery and reporting. The applicable vendor remains responsible for the goods it manufactures or supplies. Institutions remain responsible for the uniform rules, student or staff records and approvals they submit.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, OTPs and account access. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, access another user's data, disrupt the platform, upload malicious content, scrape data, reverse engineer protected components or use Alefur for fraud. Notify Alefur through the contact page if you suspect unauthorized use.
Intellectual property
Alefur's software, branding, interface and original content are protected intellectual property. A limited, revocable and non-transferable right is granted to use the platform for its intended purpose. Institution and vendor marks remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Orders, Pricing & Payments
- Review the institution, student or employee, garment, size, quantity, personalization, price, taxes, delivery address and payment details before confirming an order.
- An order is accepted only when confirmation is issued. Availability, production capacity, payment authorization and institutional approval may affect acceptance.
- Prices, taxes, delivery fees, discounts and the final payable amount will be displayed before confirmation. Obvious pricing or technical errors may be corrected before fulfilment, with notice and an option to cancel where required.
- Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. Alefur does not store complete card or banking credentials unless expressly stated.
- Users must not initiate a false chargeback or payment dispute. Genuine billing concerns should be reported promptly through the contact page.
Measurements and customized goods
The purchaser is responsible for checking measurements and size selections before ordering. Size guides are indicative and fit may vary by garment. Personalized, altered, made-to-measure or institution-specific goods may enter production shortly after confirmation and may not be cancellable or returnable except where defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by law.
Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Delays may arise from production, approval, stock, carrier, address, weather, force-majeure or institutional distribution issues. Risk and responsibility transfer as provided by applicable law and the stated delivery method. Report missing, visibly damaged or incorrect packages promptly with the order number and supporting evidence.
3. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
- Cancellation requests must be submitted before production or procurement begins. Acceptance depends on the order status and applicable law.
- For defective, damaged, materially misdescribed or incorrect goods, contact Alefur promptly after delivery and retain the product, packaging, labels and photographs for assessment.
- Change-of-mind returns may be declined for customized, personalized, altered, hygienically sensitive, worn, washed, damaged or institution-specific items.
- Approved returns must follow the communicated return instructions. Refunds are issued to the original payment method where practicable and may require reasonable processing time.
- Nothing in this policy limits a remedy, replacement, refund or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Stakeholder Responsibilities
Institutions
Institutions must ensure that submitted rosters, contact details, uniform rules, approvals and permissions are accurate and lawfully provided. Institutions must give required notices and obtain appropriate authority before uploading personal data, especially data relating to children, students or employees.
Parents, guardians and purchasers
Purchasers must order only for persons they are authorized to represent, confirm identity and association details, provide accurate delivery and measurement information, and inspect order information before payment.
Vendors
Vendors must maintain required registrations and permissions; provide accurate product, price, stock, origin, care, safety and delivery information; meet approved specifications; protect personal data; fulfil accepted orders professionally; and comply with product quality, labelling, invoicing, tax, consumer and other applicable requirements. Vendors may not substitute materials or specifications without required approval.
Prohibited conduct
No user may submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material; manipulate reviews, prices, inventory or order status; misuse personal data; bypass access controls; transmit malware; harass others; or use the platform in a way that harms Alefur, an institution, a vendor or another user.
5. Privacy Policy

Purposes and lawful handling
Data is used to create and secure accounts; verify permitted access; connect users with institutions and vendors; manage measurements, catalogues, orders, production, payments, delivery and support; prevent fraud; maintain records; improve the service; and comply with legal obligations. Where consent is required, it may be withdrawn through the available contact or account channel, subject to lawful retention and completed transactions.
Sharing
Only data reasonably needed for the service is shared with relevant institutions, vendors, delivery providers, payment providers, hosting or technology providers, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required. Recipients must use the data for authorized purposes and protect it appropriately. Alefur does not sell personal data.
Children and represented users
Information about a child or another represented person must be provided only by an authorized parent, guardian or institution acting with the required authority. Alefur may request verification or restrict processing where authority is unclear.
Retention and security
Data is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, transaction records, disputes, fraud prevention and legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized where practicable. Alefur uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
Subject to applicable law, an eligible person may request access to or correction, updating or deletion of personal data; withdraw consent; raise a grievance; and nominate another person where supported by law. Requests may require identity and authority verification and can be submitted through the contact page.
Cookies and service data
Alefur may use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences and platform operation. Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if introduced, will be handled with the notices and choices required by applicable law.
6. Availability, Liability & Disputes
Service availability
Alefur may update, suspend or restrict the platform for maintenance, security, legal compliance or misuse. Reasonable efforts are made to keep information and services available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alefur is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; loss caused by inaccurate user, institution or vendor data; unauthorized account use; third-party services; or events beyond reasonable control. No exclusion applies where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer remedies.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a business, institution or vendor must protect Alefur against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from its unlawful content, unauthorized data submission, infringement, product defect, regulatory breach or material violation of these terms.
Suspension and termination
Alefur may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, legal requirement or harm to other users. Obligations concerning payment, intellectual property, privacy, liability and disputes survive where their nature requires it.
Governing law and resolution
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Alefur's operating entity and the transaction, without removing any mandatory consumer right. Please first raise a complaint through the contact page so it can be investigated. Unresolved disputes will be handled by the competent courts or consumer forum unless the parties validly agree to another lawful process.
Policy changes
Alefur may update these policies for operational, legal or security reasons. Material changes will be communicated where required. Continued use after the effective date means the revised policies apply to future use, subject to applicable law.
7. Contact & Grievances
For legal, privacy, order, return or grievance requests, use the Alefur contact page. Include your name, contact details, institution, relevant order or account reference, a clear description and any supporting documents. Alefur may verify identity or authority before disclosing or changing personal data.
